Virginie is a mother of two boys. Her daily yoga practice helps her to ground herself, create order in her busy life and put things into perspective. She was introduced to yoga during her travels to Asia and India, but it was only after the birth of her children that she started practising yoga intensively and made it part of her daily routine. Virginie is convinced that yoga has a healing effect on body and mind and therefore started her yoga training to convince others of this.
She also likes pizza, coffee, pancakes, music, the sea and Asia.
Virginie obtained her 300 hours Teacher Training vinyasa yoga certificate at Antwerp Yoga under the guidance of Elsie Matthijssens. She then went on to study yin yoga and obtained her 50 hours TT yin yoga certificate at H3 yoga, Jennifer Raye's 20 hours of Chinese medicine for yoga teachers and followed MyoYin workshops with Jo Phee.
She was also bitten by the Prana Vinyasa method and took the 50 hour Elemental Prana Vinyasa course and 35 Lunar Prana Vinyasa course with Nele Van Poucke.
She is an Ashtanga Mysore student and continues to study by attending various workshops and teacher training courses. She also studies fascia and massage.
